Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reev Tech Inc. ("Duolove") collects, uses, and stores your information. By using Duolove, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect specific data to enable the pairing, drawing, and history features of the app.

• User UUID: A unique identifier generated upon first launch. This ID is stored in your device's Keychain to maintain your account and premium status even if you reinstall the app.
• Authentication: We use Google Firebase Anonymous Authentication. While you do not provide an email or password, your account is linked to this Firebase identity.
• Push Tokens: FCM and APNs tokens are collected to deliver notifications when a partner sends a drawing.

• Drawings & Images: We collect the drawings you create and any photos you upload from your Camera or Photo Library for use within the app.
• Metadata: We store timestamps, vector data (for redrawing), and relationship metadata (room IDs, pairing codes).

• Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, crash reporting, and user engagement. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you outside of the app context.
• RevenueCat: We process purchase history and subscription status through RevenueCat to validate your premium features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To pair you with a partner via invite codes and sync drawings between devices.
• History & Persistence: To store your drawings and relationship history indefinitely so you can scroll back and view past memories.
• Notifications: To alert you via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) when you receive a new drawing.
• Infrastructure Security: To protect our servers using Cloudflare services.

3. Pairing and Invite Codes

Duolove operates on a pairing model:

• Users are connected via a unique, user-generated invite code.
• Once paired, a shared "Room" is created on our backend.
• Both users in a pair have access to the shared history of drawings and images within that room.

4. Data Storage and Retention

4.1 Indefinite Storage
Unlike ephemeral messaging apps, Duolove is designed to preserve memories. We store your drawings, images, and chat history on our servers indefinitely as part of your relationship timeline, unless a deletion request is submitted.

4.2 Unpairing vs. Deletion
If you "Unpair" or delete the app from your device:

• Local data may be removed from your device.
• Server data persists: Your drawing history and account UUID remain on our servers to allow for account recovery or history restoration.
• To fully remove your data from our servers, you must submit a formal Deletion Request (see Section 6).

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You maintain rights over your data. Because our accounts are pseudonymous (based on Device/UUID and not email), we may require you to provide your specific User UUID (found in app settings) to process these requests.

• Right to Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your account and all associated drawing history. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the data associated with your UUID.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit and secure token management. However, please note that drawings are stored on our servers to enable the history feature and are accessible to our system administrators for technical maintenance and moderation purposes.
